10 Kisses!

I had "10" candy kisses today!!

 "10"-Count 'em- 5...and then ...5 again!!

They are in a bag (-a see through bag-) in my freezer, left overs from Christmas.

 When I went to put the meat away from yesterday's shopping... well...before I knew it and without any plan whatsoever, I had 5 of those babies in my hand!

 Have to admit it, though- the 2nd 5 kisses WERE PLANNED!

What in the world is the matter with me!! 

Kiss deprived, I guess!

LOL-OK-today I colored my hair...and -turns out I got a color darker than I intended.

 Now I'm a brown haired girl once more...as I was in my young years.

 No more will those blonde jokes fit me! haha- How can I explain myself now?

 ....Don't worry-I'll probably be back blonde before you know it!

Shrek, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were all having lunch together.

Shrek said, 'I have always thought that I'm the strongest man in the world, but how can I be sure?'

Angelina Jolie agreed. 'I'm told I'm the most gorgeous of them all, but sometimes I wonder.'
Brad Pitt said, 'I'm pretty sure I'm the sexiest man alive but I've never had it confirmed.'

They all decided that the best way to find out if their beliefs were true was to ask the famed talking 'mirror, mirror on the wall' to confirm for them whether Shrek was the strongest, Angelina Jolie was the most gorgeous and Brad Pitt was the sexiest.

They agreed to meet again the next day for lunch to discuss their findings.
The next day Shrek walked up with a smile. 'Well, true. The mirror told me that I am the strongest man in the world.'
Brad Pitt perked up and said: 'And I know for sure that I'm the sexiest man alive.'
But Angelina Jolie lifted her sad, gorgeous face and said.. ................................

Hair!

Where have all the long curls gone??
Long time passing...

:) That old Peter, Paul and Mary song just popped in my head as I was making these pics of my new hair cut! (Well, with a twist, naturally!)

OK...being silly again but that's better than depressed which I often am!
RIGHT?


Today I took the plunge and went and got my long locks trimmed. It has been a long time since I cut my hair at all! I'm not your usual modern day lady who frequents hairdressers. It's my least favorite thing to do!!

Really weird - I know!


Actually, I like my hair long, except in the summer when I have to use hair clips a lot to keep cool! That makes me have headaches!....so...finally I break through my resistance and just go for it!
I don't like big changes in any part of my life. If something is comfortable I usually want to stick with it...That goes for almost everything in all parts of my life!

LOL- The only way getting old has been tolerable for me is that it has happened so gradually...
Imagine if it had happened suddenly!!! haha- I'd be in a tizzy! Lucky there's a good master plan in place, eh?

....And the part about trading my petite figure of my youth for this old bag I'm in now (ooops ...I meant to say this more mature shape) hasn't really been that bad either- because it happened gradually, so as to give me time to get settled in!

I DO wish I could have kept my original medium brown hair, though. As I got older and the gray was taking over I began lightening my hair. The gray blends in better with the blonde. and I don't have to color it nearly as often as I would need to if I was trying to keep it my original color! (Does that make sense to anyone?)

...But-I DO find that being blonde is fun! It's been a few years now and I'm quite in tune with it by now!

LOL- and let me tell you...having Blonde Moments combined with Senior Moments is a force to be reckoned with! lol!
